These policies apply to both our Bedford and Timberlea properties unless stated otherwise. Last updated: 31 August 2026.
This is a summary only. Full terms are set out below.
All guests checking in must present valid government-issued photo identification and a valid payment method.
The name on the reservation should match the identification and payment card provided at check-in. Management may require additional verification where reasonably necessary.
The registered guest must be at least 21 years of age and is responsible for all occupants associated with the reservation.
Stardust Motel Limited reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to refuse accommodation where satisfactory identification, payment, or necessary verification cannot be provided.
False, misleading or fraudulent information provided during the reservation process or at check-in may result in cancellation, refusal of service, removal from the property or other appropriate action.
A valid major credit card is required at check-in.
Stardust Motel Limited reserves the right to place a $250 credit-card pre-authorization / security hold to cover potential costs including:
The $250 authorization amount does not limit the guest's responsibility for costs exceeding that amount. Unused authorization amounts will be released following departure. The time required for released funds to become available is determined by the guest's financial institution or card issuer and is outside Stardust Motel Limited's control.
By checking in and providing the applicable payment authorization, the guest authorizes Stardust Motel Limited to process applicable charges arising from the reservation or stay in accordance with the agreed terms.
Please note: the $250 authorization hold is a temporary hold on your card and is separate from the $250 smoking/vaping cleaning fee, which is a charge that only applies if that policy is broken.
The maximum occupancy for each room must not be exceeded.
Only registered guests may occupy guest rooms overnight. Visitors are permitted only subject to management approval and must comply with motel policies. The registered guest is responsible for the conduct of occupants and visitors associated with their reservation.
The following are prohibited:
Management may require unauthorized occupants or visitors to leave. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination of the stay, subject to applicable law and applicable reservation terms.
Smoking, vaping, cannabis use and electronic inhalation devices are prohibited inside guest rooms, hallways, stairwells, indoor common areas and other indoor portions of the property.
A violation may result in a $250 cleaning and deodorization fee. Additional reasonable costs may apply where the violation causes damage, excessive cleaning, specialized deodorization, loss of room use or other actual costs.
Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated outdoor areas and must comply with applicable law.
Pets are not permitted at Stardust Motel properties.
Service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable law.
Information or verification regarding service animals will only be requested where permitted by applicable law.
Unauthorized pets may result in reasonable cleaning or damage charges and other appropriate action. Guests remain responsible for damage or costs caused by animals associated with their stay, subject to applicable law.
Guests are responsible for damage caused during their stay by themselves, occupants or visitors associated with their reservation.
Stardust Motel Limited may recover reasonable costs associated with:
Charges are processed in accordance with applicable payment authorization and terms.
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM daily. During quiet hours guests must minimize noise.
Examples of prohibited disruptive activity include:
Parties, disorderly conduct, harassment, threats and unreasonable disturbances are prohibited at all times. Management may investigate and address complaints. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination of the stay, subject to applicable law and reservation terms.
Complimentary on-site parking is available for registered guests at both properties. Parking is first-come, first-served and spaces cannot be reserved or guaranteed.
Parking for large trucks, buses, trailers, recreational vehicles and oversized vehicles is not recommended because of limited space. Accommodation may occasionally be possible but is subject to availability, subject to management approval, and not guaranteed.
Vehicles and their contents are parked on motel property at the owner's risk. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Stardust Motel Limited assumes no responsibility for theft, loss, vandalism, break-ins, vehicle damage, or loss or damage to contents, unless liability otherwise arises under applicable law.
Vehicles must not obstruct emergency access, other guests, motel operations or neighbouring properties.
Subject to applicable law, Stardust Motel Limited may refuse accommodation or terminate a stay for matters including serious or repeated policy violations, illegal activity, threats, harassment, property damage, fraud, non-payment, safety concerns, security concerns, unauthorized occupants, serious disturbances, and conduct materially interfering with staff or other guests.
Guests unable to satisfy the minimum 21-year age requirement at check-in may be refused accommodation.
Refund eligibility following termination depends on circumstances, reservation terms and applicable law.
